General Information

Every scooter rental with Bali Ramah includes everything you need for a safe and smooth start to your trip. Whether you’re a first-time rider or a Bali regular, our rentals are designed for convenience and peace of mind.

  • What’s included with every rental? Two sanitized helmets, full tank, free delivery and pick-up, phone holder, local riding tips, and WhatsApp support during business hours.
  • Where do you deliver? Free delivery across Bali’s most popular areas, including Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Seminyak, Kuta, Nusa Dua, and the Bukit Peninsula. Longer-distance deliveries may include a transparent distance-based fee.
  • Can I ride outside Bali? No. Rentals are for Bali only. Ferry trips to Lombok, Java, or other islands are not allowed without written permission.

Pricing, Payment, and Discounts

Our pricing is clear and competitive. You’ll always know the daily, weekly, and monthly rates before booking, and discounts apply automatically for longer rentals.

  • How does pricing work? Daily rentals start from 139,680 IDR/day, with weekly and monthly deals for maximum savings.
  • When do I pay? Payment is made on delivery – never before. No deposits are required for 3+ day rentals.
  • What payment methods are accepted? Cash in IDR or secure bank transfer.
  • Do you offer discounts? Yes. Weekly and monthly rentals automatically qualify for reduced rates.
  • What if I need to cancel? Cancel up to 24 hours before delivery for free. Last-minute cancellations incur a small processing fee.

Support and Requirements

We make it simple to ride legally and stay supported during your rental. Our team speaks English and Indonesian and knows the island inside out, so you always have someone to help if you need it.

  • What documents do I need? A valid passport (copy or original), a motorcycle license, and an International Driving Permit.
  • What’s the minimum age? Riders must be 21+ with a valid license.
  • How do I reach support? WhatsApp or call +62 859-5481-2850 anytime during business hours; monitored after-hours for emergencies.
  • What if my scooter breaks down? Contact us. We’ll send a mechanic or replacement scooter at no cost if it’s due to normal wear.
  • What if the scooter is damaged or stolen? Report it immediately. There is no scooter/motorbike insurance available in Bali; the guest is fully responsible for any damage or loss. For theft, responsibility remains with the guest (including where the bike is parked and safeguarding documents/keys) and full replacement costs may be required, especially if documents or keys are lost. File a police report so we can assist with local procedures and any GPS-supported recovery.

Fuel, Maintenance, and Safety

We take care of maintenance so you can focus on enjoying your trip. Every bike is checked by certified mechanics before handover, and safety tips are provided at delivery.

  • How does fuel work? Bikes come with a full tank. Return them full or pay a small top-up fee (50,000 – 100,000 IDR).
  • What about maintenance? Routine issues from normal wear are covered. Damages caused by misuse are the rider’s responsibility.
  • Are scooters insured? No. Riders should secure their own travel insurance with motorbike coverage.
  • How can I ride safer? Always wear your helmet, follow traffic rules, and ride defensively, especially during the rainy season or on unfamiliar roads.

Traffic Rules and Riding Tips

Bali’s roads can be unique: narrow lanes, mixed traffic, and frequent ceremonies. Following local rules and habits ensures you have a safer and more enjoyable experience.

  • Always ride on the left side of the road.
  • Wear helmets at all times – for both driver and passenger.
  • Carry your license and ID copies; police checks are common.
  • Respect local ceremonies – roads may be blocked during events.
  • Reduce speed during rain and watch for sand or gravel on roads near beaches.

Emergencies and Accidents

If something unexpected happens, we’re here to help. From mechanical issues to accident assistance, our team provides guidance and support.

  • Breakdown? Contact us via WhatsApp. We’ll send assistance or a replacement scooter.
  • Accident? Get to safety, contact us immediately, and follow our guidance for local procedures.
  • Theft? Notify the police and us right away – quick reporting improves recovery chances.
